Kitagawa have recently extended their range of EMI absorbing sheets and now offer an EMI suppression material designed primarily for automotive applications.
The MG-13 material is a highly effective EMI absorber sheet mixed with metallic metal filler that is used for suppressing electromagnetic emissions. It has excellent processability with secondary processing provided to fit the specific application.
An easy to apply noise reduction solution that can be cut using a knife or scissors. Simply cut the EMI sheet to size and apply it to your application using the adhesive backing. Can fit enclosures, cables or placed around PCBs. The flexible properties of the MG-13 EMI absorber enable it to be fitted on corners or bent surfaces.
Another advantage of the MG-13 EMI material is that it has low outgassing and VOC (volatile organic component) leakage. Can be supplied in custom shapes and sizes upon request. Suited for frequency range 2GHz to 6Ghz.
For suppressing internal noise interference for devices equipped with wireless circuits operating at ISM (2.4GHz to 5.7GHz) and high frequency ETC (5.8GHz). Also suited for on-board car cameras, car navigation systems, in-vehicle utility management systems, CPUs and image processing ICs.
