The SMD magnetically shielded housing is assembled with a drum core and ring core. The shielded ring core covers areas around the coil to give these products a closed magnetic circuit to achieve low EMI. The main advantage of the shielded inductor is that it blocks both internal and external magnetism, preventing any interference issues.
